Based on a mahogany body finished in »Mars Gold«

Based on a mahogany body finished in »Mars Gold« in combination with a real tortoise celluloid pickguard, this Firestar Bass features three Lollar Thunderbird pickups in chrome. This bass delivers all the warm goods of three bass humbuckers on mahogany with the attack of a bolt on figured maple neck with rosewood fretboard.

It has all the features of our regular 3 pickup electronic circuit: piezo pickup, middle pickup on /off, surf switch. Especially to mention is the middle pickup switched on: Just turn down the volume, and the only thing you hear is the middle pickup, whatever you have dialed in before!
Last but not least we finally have found the ultimate Hipshot bridge, which is being custom made for Deimel Guitarworks in nickel plated aluminum with raw brass saddles.

Test stringing of #deimeldoublestar037 for checking all is alligned and in the right angle. We have a very small tolerance on our Vibratone bridge: the neck angle needs to be 100% correct in order to have the saddles as low as possible but still adjustable in height.

This Doublestar RawTone represents the most basic

This Doublestar RawTone represents the most basic mix of the long scale / string through body concept versus a mahogany made guitar with maple top. By choosing mostly vintage ingredients on the hand wound Deimel 90ies, the tone of snap and twang by the longer scale and the string to brass/steel contact of our Vibratone bridge is as raw as it can get. True overtones enhance the mahogany driven resonance, the string attack gives it the necessary bite. Your fingers truly get heard on this one and a mistake is a beauty mistake! A very thin nitro satin coat on a slight lemon amber tint is combined with a re-designed two soap bar-style pickguard in anodized gold aluminum. Bumblebee reissue included!

Very classic Deimel Firestar equipped with @masterybridge and vibrato in »Moon Dust Blue« finish and three piece pickguard w/ gold anodized center and nickel control plates. In this custom version we have the following pickups: hand wound Deimel HB neck, Deimel T90 middle, Deimel HB bridge, plus a built in piezo disc. 4 slider switches give you infinite sound options: piezo on/off; middle pickup on/off; split neck HB; split bridge HB.
